DeFi security reviews widen from smart contracts to governance and emergency control

DeFi security work is becoming broader as investors and users pay more attention to governance controls.

A protocol can pass a code audit and still carry risk if voting rules, admin keys, emergency powers or vault permissions are weak.

That shift changes due diligence: strong security now includes both technical review and a clear explanation of who can change the system during stress.
